Introduction
These Affiliate Program Agreement ("Affiliate Agreement") govern participation in the Hyonix Affiliate Program. They form part of the agreement between you and Hyonix and apply in addition to our Terms of Service. If you do not participate in the affiliate program, they do not apply to you.
This document should be read in conjunction with our:
Our use of affiliate tracking cookies is described in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about the affiliate program, please open a ticket through your account.
1. Participation and Acceptance
The Hyonix Affiliate Program allows participants to earn commission by referring new customers to Hyonix. Participation is open to holders of an active Hyonix account and begins when you first access the affiliate area of the Control Panel or generate an affiliate link. By participating, you accept this Affiliate Agreement.
The purpose of the program is to promote Hyonix services to genuine prospective customers through channels you own or are authorised to use. Participation that works against that purpose, or that damages the interests of Hyonix or of other affiliates, is a breach of this Affiliate Agreement regardless of whether it is expressly listed below.
2. Affiliate Obligations
As an affiliate, you agree to:
- Operate only one affiliate account, unless we have approved otherwise in writing
- Take full responsibility for any website, channel, or material you use to promote Hyonix, including its content and its compliance with applicable law
- Describe our services accurately, and not make claims about pricing, performance, features, or promotions that are inaccurate, outdated, or misleading
- Not present yourself as Hyonix, or as authorised to act, speak, or accept obligations on our behalf
- Provide details of the channels you use to promote Hyonix if we ask for them
- Not use affiliate links or promotional material in unsolicited email or messaging, or on any channel that would breach our Acceptable Use Policy
3. Qualifying Referrals
Commission is payable only in respect of a qualifying referral. A referral qualifies where all of the following are met:
- The referred customer is a new customer who has not previously held an account with Hyonix
- The referral was tracked through the affiliate system, or manually registered under Section 7
- The referred customer completed registration with accurate details and was not flagged as fraudulent or high risk
- Payment was made using a legitimate payment method held by or on behalf of the referred customer
- The referred customer decided independently to purchase from Hyonix
- The service has remained active and paid for at least thirty (30) days
- Neither the affiliate nor the referred customer is in breach of the Agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy
4. Referral Eligibility and Related Parties
A referral will not qualify if the referred customer is the affiliate themselves, a member of the affiliate's household, an immediate family member, a business owned or controlled by the affiliate, an employee or representative acting on the affiliate's behalf, or another account created or controlled for the purpose of generating affiliate commission.
We may treat accounts as related where our fraud prevention and abuse detection systems indicate a connection between them. We do not disclose the signals used. Where we determine that a referral involves related parties, commission will not be paid and Section 12 may apply.
5. Commission Structure
Hyonix offers a 10% recurring commission (calculated in USD), unless a different rate is specified for a particular product, plan, or promotion. Where a different rate applies, it will be indicated at the point of sale or on request.
Commission is recurring, and applies to renewals of a qualifying referred service for as long as that service remains active and the affiliate account remains in good standing.
Certain products may be excluded from the affiliate program, including limited-availability, custom, or community-specific offers. Where a product is excluded, this will be indicated at the point of sale or on request. Hyonix retains the discretion to withhold or refuse any commission that does not meet this Affiliate Agreement.
6. Commission Processing and Payout
6.1 Holding Period
Commission on a qualifying referral is held for thirty (30) days from the date the referred order is paid. It becomes available for withdrawal once that period has passed and the conditions in Section 3 continue to be met.
6.2 Reversals
Commission is not payable on orders that are refunded, charged back, cancelled during the Money-Back Guarantee period, or terminated for abuse. Where commission has already been credited in respect of such an order, it may be reversed.
6.3 Payout Cycle
Payout requests are processed on a monthly cycle:
- The cut-off for each cycle is the 7th day of the month at 11:59 PM (UTC+8).
- Requests submitted before the cut-off are reviewed and, where approved, processed on or before the 21st day of the same month.
- Requests submitted after the cut-off are carried forward to the following month’s cycle.
6.4 Payout Methods and Threshold
The minimum payout amount is $30.00 USD. Available payout methods are limited to PayPal or Hyonix account credit only; no other payout methods are currently available. Affiliates are responsible for all fees incurred from PayPal. Commissions below the minimum payout threshold may be paid out as Hyonix account credit upon request.
7. Tracking, Cookies and Manual Registration
7.1 Tracking and Cookies
We track referrals using cookies set through our billing system when a visitor follows an affiliate link. Cookies last for up to thirty (30) days following the initial visit, allowing affiliates to receive commission even if the users they refer do not purchase immediately. This duration may be changed at any time.
Where a visitor has an existing affiliate cookie and then follows a different affiliate link, the more recent cookie takes precedence and the referral is attributed to the most recently clicked link.
Hyonix is not responsible for commission that cannot be attributed because a cookie was not set, was blocked or removed, expired, or because the referred customer registered using a different browser, device, or a private browsing session. Where tracking fails due to a technical fault on our side, contact us and we will assess the claim on its merits.
7.2 Manual Commission Registration
In cases where affiliate tracking cookies cannot be identified or verified, Hyonix may manually register the referral upon request. Manual registration is limited to the first order only for the referred customer. Subsequent orders or renewals will not be eligible for manual affiliate registration if they were not properly tracked through the affiliate system.
Requests for manual registration are subject to the following conditions:
- The request must be submitted through our ticketing system within thirty (30) days of the referred customer's first order. Requests submitted after this period will not be considered.
- The request must identify the referred customer's account and the relevant order or invoice number.
- Hyonix may require confirmation from the referred customer before the referral is registered.
- Manual registration will not be granted where Section 4 or Section 9 applies.
Manual registration is provided at our sole discretion as a goodwill measure. Hyonix is under no obligation to manually register any referral, and our decision on any such request is final.
8. Relationship of the Parties
Participation in the affiliate program does not create a joint venture, partnership, agency, franchise, employment, or sales representative relationship between you and Hyonix. You are not authorised to make or accept offers, give warranties, or make representations on our behalf.
Hyonix owns the relationship with every customer from first contact, including customers introduced by an affiliate.
9. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Using the affiliate system for personal gains, such as for service discount or cash-back
- Generating referrals through cookie stuffing, link masking, cloaking, hidden iframes, automatic redirects, or any method that does not involve a deliberate click by a genuine visitor
- Setting affiliate cookies without the visitor's knowledge, including through mechanisms that trigger a link when a visitor clicks something else
- Offering cash-back, rebates, or any share of commission as an inducement to sign up
- Creating or coordinating multiple accounts to generate or inflate commission
- Submitting referral or manual registration claims that are knowingly false or misleading
Violations of this Section are subject to Section 12.1.
10. Advertising Standards
Affiliates must abide by the following:
- Advertisements and endorsements must not be misleading with the intention to get more clicks on affiliate links. Example: showing a 90% discount while the promotion never existed.
- You may not use Hyonix branding, logos, or other intellectual property without our permission.
- Pages promoting Hyonix may not be built primarily around coupon, discount, voucher, or cash-back terms, including in the page title, URL, metadata, or description. We may reject or withhold commission from pages whose main purpose is to capture discount-related searches rather than provide useful content.
- You may not register or use domain names containing "Hyonix" or a confusingly similar variation.
Violations of this Section are subject to Section 12.2.
11. Traffic Requirements and Paid Search
Affiliates that have traffic originated from unknown sources, websites with no content, cash-back, direct advertisement (including but not limited to Bing, Google, Syndicate search), coupon and voucher sites are currently not supported and payout will not be processed.
Paid search and paid social advertising are not supported channels for this program. You may not:
- Bid on "Hyonix", "hyonix.com", or any variation, abbreviation, or misspelling of our name or trademarks
- Use our name or trademarks in the headline, description, or display URL of any paid advertisement
- Link directly to hyonix.com or any of its subdomains from a paid advertisement
- Run advertising that competes with or interferes with our own campaigns, including pop-ups, pop-unders, and traffic exchanges
Violations of this Section are subject to Section 12.2.
12. Enforcement and Consequences
12.1 Prohibited Activities
Where you breach Section 9 (Prohibited Activities), or Section 4 (Referral Eligibility and Related Parties), all of the following apply:
- Immediate termination of all accounts associated with you
- Termination of all services under those accounts
- Immediate termination of your affiliate account
- Forfeiture of all current and pending affiliate balances, regardless of whether they were generated from the conduct in question
- No settlement of any outstanding commission
12.2 Advertising, Traffic and Paid Search
Where you breach Section 10 (Advertising Standards) or Section 11 (Traffic Requirements and Paid Search), all of the following apply:
- Immediate termination of your affiliate account
- Forfeiture of all current and pending affiliate balances, regardless of whether they were generated from the conduct in question
- No settlement of any outstanding commission
Your hosting services and customer account are not affected under this Section, unless the same conduct also breaches the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy, in which case those documents apply independently.
12.3 General
We may also withhold, reverse, or refuse individual commissions that do not meet this Affiliate Agreement without closing your affiliate account. We are not required to issue a warning before taking action under this Section, and our decision on any enforcement matter is final.
13. Affiliate Account Inactivity
Affiliate accounts that remain inactive (no login or affiliate activities) for twenty-four (24) consecutive months will be subject to termination. Any outstanding commission balances in inactive accounts will be forfeited upon termination.
14. Termination and Changes
Either party may end participation in the affiliate program at any time by written notice. On termination you must stop using our name, branding, and affiliate links, and remove them from your channels.
Termination does not affect commission already accrued on qualifying referrals, except where your affiliate account is terminated under Section 12, in which case pending balances are forfeited.
We reserve the right to update this Affiliate Agreement at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this Affiliate Agreement periodically for updates. Continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
